Shopify Theme Sync Free (hereinafter referred to as "this extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed to provide users with bidirectional real-time file synchronization between the Shopify online theme editor and their local file system.

Functionality Overview

This extension activates when users visit a Shopify admin theme editor page and operates as follows:

• Monitors file save operations in the Shopify editor and automatically writes saved files to the user's selected local folder.
• Watches for file changes in the user's selected local folder and automatically uploads modified files to the corresponding Shopify theme.
• All data processing is performed locally within the user's browser. Files are only transferred between the user's Shopify account and their chosen local folder.

Data Collection Statement

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any user personal information. Specifically:

• Does not collect personally identifiable information (such as name, email, address, etc.).
• Does not collect browsing history or browsing behavior data.
• Does not collect users' Shopify account credentials or login information.
• Does not use any analytics tools, trackers, or third-party data collection services.
• Does not send data to any third-party servers.

This extension contains no remote server communication functionality.

All data generated during the extension's operation (such as sync state, theme configuration, and file timestamps) is stored locally in the user's browser via `chrome.storage.local` and the browser's built-in IndexedDB. This data is used solely by the extension itself and is never transmitted to any external server.

All permissions requested by this extension are used solely for core sync functionality.
