Export Amazon Product to Shopify CSV Extension Privacy Policy

The core commitment of this extension (Export Amazon product to Shopify CSV) is: it does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or browsing data. All processing happens locally in the user's browser.

What the Extension Does and How It Is Used

  • When the user explicitly clicks the extension button on an Amazon product detail page, the extension will:
    1. Read publicly visible product information on the current page (title, brand, price, ASIN, images, bullet points, description, variants, etc.);
    2. At the moment of that user-initiated click, issue requests to sibling variant pages of the same product on the same Amazon site, in order to complete variant images;
    3. Locally assemble the above information into CSV text that matches Shopify's import template;
    4. Save that CSV file to the user's local Downloads folder via Chrome's download API.
  • The extension only responds on supported Amazon product detail pages.
  • The extension does not perform any extraction in the background without an explicit user click.

We Do Not Collect Any Information

  • The extension does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, login credentials, or payment information.
  • The extension does not collect any health, financial, authentication, or personal communications information.
  • The extension does not collect browsing history, web content, search terms, click behavior, or any form of usage analytics or telemetry.
  • The extension does not collect any account information on Shopify, Amazon, or any other platform.
  • The extension does not use cookies, does not store data on any remote server, and does not send analytics or crash reports.

Data Flow

  • All product extraction and CSV generation happens locally in the browser; the extension has no backend server of its own.
  • The only network requests initiated by the extension are GET requests to sibling variant product pages on the current Amazon site, made only when the user clicks the export button, in order to read images from those publicly available product pages. This is functionally equivalent to the user opening the same URL in the browser address bar, and only happens in response to a user click.
  • The CSV file produced by the extension is saved only to the user's own local Downloads folder, and the user alone decides whether to upload it to their own Shopify store.

  • 扩展不会在没有用户点击的情况下自动运行抓取流程。

我们不收集任何信息

  • 扩展不收集任何个人身份信息（PII），例如姓名、邮箱地址、电话号码、地址、登录凭据、支付信息等。
  • 扩展不收集任何健康、财务、认证或个人通信信息。
  • 扩展不收集用户的浏览历史、网页内容、搜索词、点击行为或任何形式的使用统计/遥测数据。
  • 扩展不收集用户在 Shopify、亚马逊或其他任何平台上的账户信息。
  • 扩展不使用 Cookie、不在远程服务器存储数据、不发送分析或崩溃报告。

数据流向

  • 所有商品提取与 CSV 生成均在本地浏览器中完成；扩展没有自有后端服务器。
  • 扩展唯一发起的网络请求是：在用户主动点击导出时，向当前亚马逊站点上的兄弟变体商品页发起 GET 请求，以便读取这些公开商品页中的图片。这与用户在浏览器地址栏中直接打开同一页面性质相同，且仅由用户的点击行为触发。
  • 扩展生成的 CSV 文件只会保存到用户自己的本地下载目录，并由用户自行决定是否上传到自己的 Shopify 店铺。
